Digital participation in the general meeting
The annual general meeting is the perfect time to get administrators and residents on the same page. As a co-owner, you never have to miss a meeting, as dobby allows you to attend online, no matter where you are. Find out how to participate via the dobby website or app.
Visit the website or open the dobby app, access the menu and click on ‘Meetings’. Select the general meeting you wish to attend. dobby will display the agenda with all the topics to be discussed. Once your administrator starts the meeting, you can click ‘Participate’ at the bottom. It’s that simple to attend digitally.
Leaving and rejoining the digital general meeting
Leaving and rejoining the general meeting digitally is just as easy as attending. dobby meticulously logs the access times, so your administrator is well informed and everything is recorded accurately in the minutes. You can also review the minutes by agenda item after your administrator has published them.
To learn how to view agenda items, read how to review the meeting agenda here.
Granting a proxy for the general meeting
If you are unable to attend the general meeting yourself, you can grant someone else a proxy vote. You cannot grant a proxy vote through dobby; to arrange a proxy vote, please contact your administrator. Notify the administrator of your absence on time, and rest assured that your vote will still count. The co-owner who receives your proxy vote will see the proxy appear later during the digital general meeting for the agenda items that require a vote.
